Today I joined the writer's union with A. I hung up the beautiful artwork S made me for Xmakah, ate delicious things and am in the process of updating my website with new book stuff.

All I need to do now is plan the tour. Do you like writers? Can I come to your town? Can i sleep on your floor?

My dear, if you want to come to Seattle I would love to help git you some gigs and you would be welcome to sleep in my guest bedroom - providing you don't mind crazy ass cats and the fact that the guest bedroom sometimes doubles as the doobie smoking room and therefore has a bit of a dorm room feel. I know it's far but this town could use you. xo

I LOVE THE PEG. I stayed in a house called the Homo HAven and went to the mondragon cafe and met a cool girl named stephanie. I would love to go there again. If I get an official invite from someone with a venue, i can apply for travel funding. Maybe I'll work on that. This time I won't take the bus from Montreal tho, that was hellish. Thanks for the invite!

nice! i know the homo haven, it's pretty close to where i live..a few streets away and on the other side of osborne. i actually don't know if it's still around..i think it was kinda before my time..and yeah the mondragon is great! though it's gotten bigger and they've switched to table service, which is weird..anyway, as for venues, all i can think of is the west end cultural centre (which is fantastic), or possibly academy coffee house (which isn't so cool but it's pretty much the only place in the city that has spoken word going on every once in awhile).

and yeah i know what you mean about the bus..my gf and i greyhounded from here to the east coast to the west coast and back a year and a half ago(which is actually when a girl introduced me to your book).i think the worst part about being on the bus all the time is trying to find an ok way to sleep.
anyway, long enough reply...i'm done.!
