I just made the best salad and I have to share:

red pepper
avocado
tomatoes
boccocinni
fresh basil
garlic

sprinkle on olive oil and a little red wine vinegar.

Perfect!

I'm in post-food bliss land.

Yes, rapini is the little bitter broccoli look-alike, and boccocinni is the cheese (I guessed right! I'm not such a sad excuse for an Italian girl after all!) and Bocci balls is a game similar to lawn bowling that my family plays during the summer. The non-Italian side of my family - go figure.
