....is that a type of cheese? Gee, I'm sure this is soemthing I *should* know! What a sad excuse for an Italian girl I am!

ha ha! Yup! It's a soft cheese you can find in containers next to the feta, ricotta and cottage cheeses. It has a heavenly texture. HIghly recommended. I also love slicing it thinly and placing it on top of a slice of tomato with a basil leaf, drizzled with pepper and olive oil. Super-Yum.

boccocinni? I didn't know what it was either! I thought it might have been those weird tiny broccoli weird hybrid things (hmmm... maybe that's calle rapini?)

Yes, rapini is the little bitter broccoli look-alike, and boccocinni is the cheese (I guessed right! I'm not such a sad excuse for an Italian girl after all!) and Bocci balls is a game similar to lawn bowling that my family plays during the summer. The non-Italian side of my family - go figure.
